Irregular Chocolates
True love means talking about anything
Bowel Cancer is Australia’s deadliest cancer in young people. If caught early, there’s a 99% chance of successful treatment. It’s a matter of knowing the symptoms to look out for.
But there’s a problem: nobody wants to talk about poo.
So, to break the taboo, Bowel Cancer Australia created Irregular Chocolates. A box of Valentine’s chocolates that teaches the symptoms of bowel cancer and encouraged important conversation amongst young lovers.
In partnership with international luxury chocolatier, Ryan Foote, each 3D printed chocolate represented a symptom
of bowel cancer to look out for in your poo.
We interviewed bowel cancer survivor and inspiration, Elise who shared her story
of life, love and the importance
of breaking the taboo about poo.
We put the chocolates in the hands of creators to unbox to their audiences. An activation space also offered people the chance to explore and take home a box to their loved one. Or themselves.
