The beauty world is MAD. BONKERS. Complicated, confusing, saturated, and serious. Products with artificial ingredients, fillers and preservatives. It can be pretty overwhelming for skin newbies to navigate. Okana, a skincare brand from NZ, had developed a simpler path to good skin with fewer products and natural ingredients. NASTIES? NUP. To launch in the Australian market, we created a brand platform that reflected their purist, no-nonsense approach to skincare: STUPID. SIMPLE.
Built around playful, two-word couplets for short attention spans, we created distinctive content that communicated Okana’s product benefits in entertaining ways we knew their Gen Z audience craved.
We enlisted Heartbreak High’s breakout star, Ayesha Madon to get a little STUPID. SIMPLE too.
